Quartz has its own story
Government indexes don't track engineered quartz. On August 15, 2026 a new import duty kicked in: 25% inside the quota, 50% above it, stacked on top of existing duties on India and Turkey slabs. Canada and Mexico are exempt. Any countertop quote dated before mid-August is stale. Make the builder re-quote.
